THE AI ECOSYSTEM IMPACT ON LOCAL STARTUPS IN THE EUROPEAN UNION AND THE UK

Abstract

This paper is devoted to the AI ecosystem influence on the local startups in the European Union. The strength of the European Union is constructed from the inner resources and cooperation between European Union countries. In past years the world has changed rapidly in terms of globalization and digitalization. This research is based on the data collected during 2000-2019, before the Brexit, that explains the UK is included in the research being as a part of the EU during analyzed period. The paper covers the key trends and issues within the AI, underlined and proved the significance of the AI ecosystem development, analyzed the key features of the AI landscape for EU start-ups. The AI strategies together with possible consequences and impact on businesses were considered and recommendations accordingly provided.
